|Hondo Education Foundation
The Hondo Education Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organization designed to promote quality education for all students in our fine school district. The foundation's purpose is to advance the partnership with our community by generating and dispursing funds, above and beyond those available through state and federal revenues, for innovative educational proposals that will impact a significant number of students and improve student achievement.
It is our hope for the foundation to raise money through individual and corporate donations. The monies generated will be dispersed in innovative instruction grants not to exceed $3,000 each. The number of grants awarded will be based on the funds generated. All Hondo ISD employees and/or groups who are involved directly or indirectly in the instruction of students are eligible for the grants, and selections will be based on the innovative nature of the proposals as well as their potential for enriching the educational experience of our students.
